A new house in Bondi Beach that’s primary aims were to be both a private retreat for the family of 5 while at the same time allowing enough open space to make impromptu entertaining possible.
Founded on screw piles and a concrete base, the two-storey structure above was primarily framed in structural timber (being exposed in many situations). Having the swimming pool constructed from a steel frame with perspex paneling allowed it to function as if it was part of the main internal family living area.
