A folded and curved, zinc clad rear addition to this residence was the main focus for the project and the upper level is supported on an array of small diameter steel columns which intertwine with interior walls, screens and external glazing around two sides. A deep cantilever awning around the glazed sides provides shade and the project was published and voted one of the top houses of 2016 in ArchitectureAU.
