Penkivil Street, Bondi

This project comprises a four storey apartment building cut into the side of a steep sloping sand site in Bondi.
Extensive contiguous piled retaining structures with ground anchors and internal strutting were used to retain the adjacent properties during construction, and permanent ground anchors utilised to resolve the significant loads imposed on the building by the retention structure in the permanent condition.
